Wyden praises Facebook coming to Prineville, creating more than 200 Central Oregon jobs

Today, Senator Ron Wyden issued a statement on Facebook opening a new data center in Prineville. He praised the more than 200 jobs it will create and how it shows Oregon's continuing leadership in the technology industry:

“The more than 200 construction jobs and 35 full-time positions that this project will bring to Prineville could not come at a better time, but the technology and training that comes from partnering with a pioneer like Facebook positions Oregon firmly on the cutting edge," Wyden said. "While it is never hard to convince anyone that Oregon is a good place to call home, the Governor deserves a lot of credit for making this project a reality. I believe that today’s announcement will be the first of many as Oregon takes its place among the world’s technological leaders.”
