Senators' Wyden & Gregg bipartisan tax plan to grow the economy

Senators Ron Wyden and Judd Gregg (R-NH) highlighted their bipartisan plan to overhaul and simplify the country's tax code in an op-ed published in today's Wall Street Journal.

The Bipartisan Tax Fairness and Simplification Act of 2010 will help middle-class taxpayers by streamlining and modernizing the outdated tax code. The proposal includes fiscally responsible tax cuts to help working families struggling to make ends meet and smart tax incentives to help American businesses companies compete globally and create new jobs. It also eliminates the corporate tax break that encourages companies to invest overseas rather than creating jobs in the U.S.
