Ron Wyden: Different. Like Oregon.

On Tax Day, Senator Wyden fights for a better way

With taxes due today for millions of Americans, Senator Ron Wyden is using the opportunity to push his bipartisan plan to fix the federal tax code. Whether it is creating jobs, cutting taxes for the middle class, reducing the deficit, or just making it easy and simple for regular folks to pay their taxes, the Senator's plan has a lot to offer.

Along with Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH), Senator Wyden's bill is making national headlines thanks to its bold new approach. Having the IRS prepare a one-page form that you can verify and complete in just 10 minutes is just the start. The plan eliminates tax breaks for companies that are outsourcing jobs and stashing their profits overseas.

Senator Wyden's plan is receiving praise and positive coverage from the Los Angeles Times and the Salem Statesman-Journal. And Senators Wyden also appeared on both MSNBC and Fox News to discuss the plan. "Instead of Democrats and Republicans going after each other, let's go after the special interests," Wyden said.
