Senator Wyden talks oil spill, stronger regulation, and the next steps on MSNBC
Late last week, Senator Ron Wyden joined Ed Schultz on MSNBC to discuss BP, the recent oil spill in the Gulf Coast region, and what the next steps could be. Senator Wyden had strong words for BP's executives and for federal regulators, but also was hopeful that progress could soon be made.
"The principal federal agency in this area has just been too cozy with this industry," said Senator Wyden. "I hope we stay at it until we get the changes that are necessary."
