Oregonian Letters: "We need Senator Wyden's Eastside Forest Plan"

From La Grande to West Linn, Oregonians are speaking up as to why Senator Ron Wyden's Eastside Forest Plan is the right one for our state. In today's Oregonian, La Grande resident Terry Edvalson and West Linn resident Casey Sparks wrote on the importance of Senator Wyden's Plan in terms of creating jobs and bringing our state together.

"We can't miss this rate opportunity to put people back to work," wrote Edvalson. "My son and other families out here depend on it. Sen. Wyden and a majority of Oregonians get that, and that's why his plan is the right one."

"These days, it's hard to get Republicans and Democrats to agree on anything," wrote Sparks. "But with the new Eastside Forest Plan legislation before Congress, Sen. Ron Wyden has succeed in doing just that."
