BREAKING: Senate to vote on defunding Planned Parenthood

We've just got word of an outrageous move by Republicans in the U.S. Senate.

I won't go into the weeds on the parliamentary procedure – the bottom line is this: They're going to try to defund Planned Parenthood by using a budget process called "reconciliation".

Why does that matter? It means that just 51 Senators can pass it, and there's no way to filibuster it.

We have to stop this. Let's show the Senate that grassroots Democrats will stand tall for Planned Parenthood, and stand tall for women's health care.

Let's show them that thousands of Americans are watching.
