We did it. The NSA dragnet is over (for now).
We did it.
We shut down the National Security Agency’s warrantless wiretapping of American citizens.
It was a long, tough fight. I’ve been at it for nearly a decade, and former senator Russ Feingold from Wisconsin was right there with me from the very beginning.
Russ is running to take back Wisconsin’s Senate seat – a race that is critical to taking back the Senate.
You see, long before the NSA dragnet was revealed to the public, Russ and I were battling to draw attention to the bulk collection of our private data. Together, we built a movement demanding an immediate end to this gross violation of our privacy.
I’m grateful to the many Americans who stood up and demanded an end to the NSA dragnet, and that includes Russ Feingold.
Russ is taking on the Tea Party in Wisconsin and he’s running a strong people-powered campaign. Show your support for Russ right now with a grassroots donation!
We just won a critical battle, but the fight to protect our privacy isn’t over. We need people like Russ Feingold in the U.S. Senate helping to lead that fight.
