This is what we can do

Here’s some good news: more Oregonians voted in this month’s primary than any other primary election in history.

That’s a good sign. When voter turnout is high, Democrats win. And we’ve got to win this one.

We have a chance to achieve some incredible progress in the coming years. Taking back the Senate means we can confirm Supreme Court justices that share our values, from voting rights to reproductive rights.

It means we can reform the tax code and eliminate the loopholes that let Wall Street hedge funders play by a different set of rules.

It means we can take bold action to confront climate change head-on and create good green energy jobs while doing it.

We can get it done, but we’ve got to win this election first.
