Give Equifax a piece of your mind

In the aftermath of Equifax's massive security breach, I'm marching full speed ahead to protect Americans from giant financial corporations that are trying to profit off of this disaster.

First, I sent a letter to the CEO of Equifax demanding answers as to why this happened so we can prevent it from happening again.

Second, I introduced the Free Credit Freeze Act. It guarantees that you can use PIN numbers to freeze and unfreeze your credit free-of-charge. You shouldn't have to pay to stop fraudsters from opening new, unauthorized financial accounts in your name.
