For months, our country has seen the reality of a Republican-controlled House of Representatives.

It's been full of chaos and cruelty.

We've seen brinksmanship on basic government funding bills. We've seen proposals to further rip away our reproductive freedoms and roll back our country's climate progress. We've seen a party defined by its most extreme and dangerous leaders — people who openly promote ideas that would dismantle our democracy.

Watching this chaos in the House, I've been grateful that our Democratic Senate majority is there to keep the GOP House in check – for now. But we held the Senate by the narrowest of margins last year, and the 2024 map is shaping up to be one of our toughest election years.

But I have faith in our grassroots movement. Time and again, you have joined me on the front lines, pushing back against Republican extremism.
