“The big one to eliminate”

I've written to you before about how Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress are gearing up to make drastic cuts and changes to Social Security. We've just had a glaring reminder of these plans – even as the Republican Party tries to deny it.

Elon Musk, one of the "masterminds" behind Republicans' plans to overhaul the program said in a recent interview: "Most of the federal spending is entitlements. So that's the big one to eliminate."

Let me distill some political speak for you: when Republicans say "entitlements," they mean Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. It couldn't be more clear that Trump is letting Elon Musk take a sledgehammer to the programs that millions of Americans rely on – and have paid into with their own money for decades.

Let's be clear: if Americans start missing Social Security checks, that's DOGE stealing YOUR hard-earned money.

Republicans are trying their hardest to march ahead with these cuts to programs seniors and families rely on. The time to get loud is now.
