Bringing Together Government and Industry to Build Our Economy

Ron Wyden, along with the Oregon Business Council, in 2002 created the Oregon Leadership Summit, an annual gathering of Oregon’s business, elected and community leaders to chart a better economic future for the state. The meeting spawned the Oregon Business Plan, a strategy to grow high-wage jobs, redesign the state budget and state services and improve Oregon’s tax system. Ron continues to pay a major role in the Summit and the Plan as a member of its Leadership Committee.
