Taking Care Of Our Men and Women in Uniform When They Get Home

Thousands of Oregonians have served oversees in recent years and many come home to no job and few prospects. That is why Ron Wyden has been fighting for his “soft landing” package to help our troops transition back into civilian life. Wyden has also been instrumental in organizing a series of job fairs for the nearly 3,000 Oregon National Guard members that have returned to Oregon this summer from Iraq. Hundreds of local employers have shown up to help find work for our returning heroes.
