"Fired because of the Russia investigation"

Today, I was in the room when former FBI Director James Comey confirmed that Donald Trump pressured him to drop the Russia investigation.

I had read it in his prepared testimony and it was even more damning to hear in person. Comey’s exact words were “I was fired because of the Russia investigation.”

Even with that crystal clear statement, Republicans are going to spin this hearing as no big deal.

We know that’s not true.

Trump’s interference is Watergate-level. Go on Facebook and share my post now to make sure the facts get out!

Comey made it clear that Trump tried to influence the FBI’s investigation into his campaign’s relationship with Russian interference in the 2016 election. Trump questioned Comey’s “loyalty” and asked him to publicly declare that the president was not personally under investigation.

That’s why I asked several important questions today that have given us leads. We now know that Vice President Mike Pence knew Flynn was a danger to national security – and as far as we know he did nothing about it. We also know that there may be more to Sessions’ ties to Russia.

So, what’s next?

We ask more tough questions. We squeeze the truth out. And see if Trump obstructed justice.

If it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck, it just might be a duck – and we’re going to find out.
