Do the right thing. Sign the petition to stop the tax vote!

In 2010, Republican Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts won a special election. When Mitch McConnell called on President Obama and the Senate Democrats to halt the vote on the Affordable Care Act – we listened, and we did.

It was the right thing to do.

In 2017, Republicans are putting their foot on the gas. They’re rushing through the vote on the $1.5 trillion tax scam. They’re ignoring the fact that the people of Alabama have spoken. They’ve turned their back on Americans. Senator-elect Doug Jones should be voting on this bill.

This is completely hypocritical and a disservice to Americans.

Call on Republicans to do the right thing and drop their partisan attempts to rush a corporate handout through Congress until Senator-elect Jones is sworn in. Sign the petition to Congress: No tax vote until Doug Jones is sworn in!
