An update on the Republican war on health care
Today in New Orleans, a handful of Republican state Attorneys General – with the backing of Trump's Justice department – will try to convince the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit to take health care away from millions of people across the country.
If Trump and his allies succeed, they'll take coverage away from 20 million people and strip away protections for the 130 million Americans with a pre-existing condition. Instantly.
As usual, they've got no plan to make sure people can get the care or medication they need, just a lot of empty talk.
Make no mistake: the administration is gambling with our families' lives, all to line the pockets of millionaire insurance CEOs.
