A further update on the fires, resources, and our progress.

For two grueling weeks, firefighters, volunteers and first responders have worked around the clock to address the blazing infernos ripping across our state.

As communities and fire crews work together tirelessly to fight fires and recover in areas that have already burned, it’s crucial that you stay informed with the most up-to-date information to stay safe.

If you haven’t done so already, please head to the Public Alerts site and sign up to receive alerts if you’re in an impacted area.

Keep up to date on the State of Oregon's wildfire resource and information website, which posts live updates on the fires and containment efforts as well as links to resources for those looking for support.

The road ahead to recovery is long, but I know our state is already coming together in the spirit of what I like to call the Oregon Way, to help each other and rebuild. And right now, the need for water, shelter, food, medical care, and other critical supplies is still growing. More than 2,500 folks in our grassroots movement have already contributed a total of over $175,000 to support the organizations working with families displaced by the Oregon wildfires.

Please contribute now to make sure the frontline relief organizations have the resources to meet the growing need for supplies and support.

More soon,

Ron
