Counting on Florida to get it right
What if I told you that Florida could be a center of progressive accomplishment in 2022?
And then what if I told you that our movement can make a big difference to the people of Florida – and America – right now.
The cause: my friend, Rep. Val Demings is taking on Marco Rubio for United States Senate. A win here would be a massive step toward keeping the Senate in Democratic hands.
So, first thing's first: would you chip in $3 to keep the Senate blue this November?
I know that Florida's ultra-conservative governor, Ron DeSantis, wants to be the next Donald Trump, and how out of control regressive Republican policies are in the state.
But that doesn't mean we can afford to write off Florida. Because, the last time I checked, many, many great progressives are on the ground working hard to get our message out.
... and because all of us across the country are counting on Florida to work hard and get it right this year.
