Keeping their big donors happy

You know the sad story: the Citizens United decision unleashed an unprecedented era of dark money in American campaigns attempting to sway our elections. Since then, Democrats have put our everything into reversing it.

We've come close to passing legislation which would make our campaign finance system more accountable, but Republicans blocked it. After all, they're happy to keep the status quo as long as they can keep cashing their big donor checks.

The fact is, the only people who benefit from less transparency are special interest groups and the super-rich who want to use their wealth to stack the odds in their favor.

I won't rest until we clean up the system once and for all.

Our progressive team must take a stand in 2022 – so we can push closer to a bigger, bright blue majority – one that can finally get dark money out of American elections.
