The far-right’s latest attack

Far-right House Republicans from the Freedom Caucus have gone around party leadership and proposed a new budget.

The House Freedom Caucus boasts some of the most extremist, right-wing members like Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Lauren Boebert. These MAGA Republicans aren't interested in governing or improving the lives of Americans. They continue to do whatever is necessary to impose their extremist and dangerous policies on our country.

Their budget proposal is exactly what we've come to expect from them. In 2017, Republicans blew a $2 trillion hole in the deficit to give a tax handout to corporations and the wealthy. Now they want American families to pay for it by slashing your hard-earned Medicare and Social Security benefits.

In a democracy, the government works for the people. Together we have the power to get right-wing extremists out of office. Will you donate now and join our growing movement to elect leaders who will prioritize people, not corporations?

Their proposed budget would reverse billions of dollars of climate funding, gut IRS funding – removing its ability to go after wealthy tax cheats – and much more.

To no one's surprise, their budget plan doesn't include a single line taxing wealthy corporations. And for all Republicans' talk about "fiscal responsibility," – their plan doesn't even reduce the deficit.

This extremist plan hurts hard-working families, rewards tax cheats, and lines the pockets of wealthy corporate executives.

We have to show Republicans that we want a Senate that works for the people, not corporate profits. So join the movement today by donating before our end-of-quarter deadline. Can you chip in $3?

Our budget is a reflection of our priorities. It should serve the people – not corporate greed.

More soon,

Ron
