I can't believe they did this

The GOP has once again put politics over people and science.

Just days ago, a group of Senate Republicans blocked a bill on the Senate floor containing essential health care and benefits for our nation's veterans, all because it included a provision to allow the research of cannabis use for veterans suffering from PTSD.

Yes, you read that right.

This antiquated approach to our nation's drug laws is preventing the Americans that have bravely served their country from accessing potentially life-changing medical treatments.

The truth is almost every state in the country has legalized cannabis in some form. The majority of Americans agree that it's time to end our country's failed War on Drugs. It's time for the federal government to enter the 21st century and get with the program.

It's time to stop putting politics above people, and I'll keep fighting to get this done.
