If Trump targets Oregon next, we must stand united
For over two weeks now, we've seen the impact of Donald Trump's alarming decision to federalize law enforcement in a major American city and dispatch armed soldiers into the streets.
D.C. residents have had their civil liberties violated, and they certainly aren't feeling safer.
The scariest part? Trump and those around him are acting like D.C. is a test run for authoritarian tactics in more cities.
And Donald Trump Jr. recently hinted that Portland could be among their next targets.

Let me be clear: if Trump attempts to violate the rights of Oregonians, I will be on the lines fighting for us.
I will not let a man who pardoned January 6 insurrectionists lecture us about "public safety."
Strong-arm tactics that harass innocent people don't restore order; they break down the bonds that make our country great.
If Trump thinks Oregonians (or Americans across the country) welcome his armed interventions, he couldn't be more wrong.
Together, we'll show him that we reject his crackdowns, and that we stand united for freedom and liberty – not the whims of a wannabe dictator.
More soon,
Ron
