Tariffs = Trump Tax

This week, the Senate passed my bipartisan resolutions to end President Trump's tariffs on Brazil and Canada.

For months, Donald Trump has wreaked havoc on our nation's economy, farmers, ranchers, small businesses, and workers with his tariff chaos. Businesses are barely able to keep their doors open. Workers are left wondering if they'll have a job from one month to the next. And families are being forced to pay an additional Trump Tax on everything they buy, from cars to groceries to beer, you name it.

It's overdue that Congress take action to rein in Trump's dangerous trade agenda guided by his own personal grievances.

The Senate has passed my bipartisan resolution to end these tariffs. Mike Johnson has kept the House on vacation for over six weeks and running, with no end in sight. Republicans in the House could take immediate action to end Trump's tariffs once and for all if Mike Johnson brings them back to D.C. to do it.

Families, farmers, and businesses across the country are desperate to get off the financial rollercoaster of Trump's tariffs. The House Republicans have the power to make it happen, and I'm calling on them to bring this up for a vote as soon as possible.

This won't be the last you hear from me on this issue. I've been sounding the alarm for months on Trump's reckless and harmful trade agenda. Now we have a real shot at bringing it to an end, and I'll be doing everything I can to get this across the finish line.
