Sign the petition: End the hemp prohibition!

Hemp prohibition is as outdated as the rotary dial telephone.

In fact, hemp was banned in 1937, swept up in the fear mongering of the Reefer Madness era.

Here's thing: No one can get high from hemp. But hemp can be used to generate clean biofuels and manufacture everything from clothing to insulation.

Legalizing industrial hemp would create jobs and bring economic benefits to rural communities.

Sign the petition telling Congress to legalize agricultural hemp.

On June 28, the Senate passed the bipartisan Hemp Farming Act as part of the Farm Bill, which would remove hemp from the list of federally controlled substances. The bill passed with flying colors and bipartisan support because legalizing hemp would create far-reaching economic opportunity in the agriculture sector.

Rural America needs us to take this long-overdue step. Now it's up to the House to keep the Hemp Farming Act in the Farm Bill.

Sign the petition to legalize hemp, create jobs, and spur economic growth in rural communities.
