End the outdated prohibition on hemp!

Hemp is an important agricultural product. It’s used for everything from rope to biofuels, and America consumes more than any other nation. All of these products use imported hemp. Why?

Because commercial production is currently banned by the federal government.

Decades ago, hemp was confused with its cousin – the cannabis plant – even though it has no psychoactive properties. It’s an outdated prohibition, and it’s time to roll it back.

The Hemp Farming Act would do just that, allowing American farmers to begin growing hemp for use in everyday products.

We’re calling on Congress to give the bill their full support. Add your name and help us make the case!

To the U.S. Congress:

Decades ago, the farming of industrial hemp was banned by the federal government. It’s a valuable agricultural product, and it’s time to end the ban. Legalizing industrial hemp farming creates red, white and blue jobs for products entirely made in America.

Please support the Hemp Farming Act. Let’s get it done!
