We achieved some important wins in 2015 – and YOU were a big part of it.

• We stood up for net neutrality.

• We saved Planned Parenthood from relentless attacks.

• We shut down the NSA’s warrantless phone surveillance program.

• We replaced No Child Left Behind with a better approach.

• We stopped devastating budget cuts to Medicare.

• And we enacted the biggest anti-poverty tax package in decades.

As we look ahead to this critical election year, I want to quickly pause to say THANK YOU, for raising your voice and pushing for progress in 2015.

Now it's time to turn our attention to 2016. Republican candidates for president are actively campaigning on a radical platform of privatizing Social Security, dismantling Medicare, persecuting law-abiding immigrants, and giving away tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans.

It’s up to us to push back against the messages of fear and hate. It’s up to us to fight for our progressive values and for a better future. That means defending this seat and it means re-taking the Senate.
