This bill is heartless and brainless

It’s heartless and brainless.

More than 74 million vulnerable Americans are covered by Medicaid in this country, yet the Senate Republicans want to dismantle this life-saving program to pay for tax breaks for their wealthy friends.

How dare they cut the care that allows people with disabilities to live a more comfortable and productive life?

How dare they slash maternity care in this country?

How dare they dismantle the safety net for children?

How dare they cut the funding that pays for seniors’ nursing homes?

Their so-called health care bill is so wrong it should never have been considered, let alone made into legislation. If this bill passes, it will devastate the lives of kids, seniors, and people with disabilities.
