Attorney General William Barr must resign.
This week Barr went in front of the Senate and proved – yet again – that he is as enthusiastic a liar as Donald Trump.
Barr’s testimony was a performance of desperate rationalizing, absurd legal reasoning, and undisguised political toadying, all tied up in a ribbon of lies attempting to cover for Trump.
Barr made it clear early on that he believed the president to be above the law, and we can guess that’s why Trump picked him. This week, he demonstrated his willingness to protect Trump’s presidency no matter the cost.
The American people have had more than enough of this administration’s contempt and lawlessness. We need your help to send the message to the Trump administration: enough is enough. We’re demanding accountability.
