Straight out of the Republican playbook

We just got a terrifying glimpse into what the future holds if Republicans take the majority in Congress.

One of Trump's allies, Sen. Rick Scott of Florida, released the National Republican Senatorial Committee's (NRSC) extreme right-wing legislative agenda. Unsurprisingly, it's filled with plans to raise taxes on working Americans and let tax cheats off the hook for not paying their fair share.

This is a timely reminder of just how critical the next election is.

Senate Republicans feel confident in taking the majority this November, and they've made it painfully clear why we can't let that happen. Democrats must grow our majority in the Senate and stop these policies in their tracks.

As usual, while Democrats are fighting to create good-paying jobs, tackle the climate crisis, cut health care costs, and much more, Republicans remain laser-focused on raising taxes on American families and protecting tax cheats. Gouging working families with higher federal taxes while the rich get richer is just plain wrong, and it's straight out of the GOP playbook.

We've been here before. We know that when Republicans are in charge, they move mountains to help the rich get richer while raising taxes on working Americans. We witnessed this as recently as the 2017 passage of the Republican tax law, which unsurprisingly, has failed to deliver on every false promise Republicans made.

It's very simple. When Republicans have power, the rich get richer at the expense of hard-working Americans. And now we see exactly how they will double down on enriching their donors and friends if they win back the Senate.

Please donate to defend and expand the Democratic Senate majority in this critical election!
