We cannot underestimate them

As usual, while Democrats are fighting to level the playing field for working families, Republican lawmakers continue to make fools of themselves on the national stage.

It can be tempting to laugh off this nonsense, but as we all learned with Donald Trump, we can't underestimate the danger. The people behind these efforts are unserious and untrustworthy. The cold reality is they would rather focus their energy on publicity stunts than helping American families.

This rhetoric isn't just talk, it leads to real, dangerous policies. Conservative states nationwide are introducing harmful and cruel legislation targeting trans Americans and youth, ripping away women's reproductive freedom, and preventing teachers from doing their jobs.
